Pet Hair Eraser. Bissel Pet Hair Eraser.

Here he is, ladies. My new main man. You can look, but don't touch...

There is a special pet hair lifter that proceeds the actual vacuum, which supposedly results in greater pet hair pick up than regular vacuums provide. Who knows if this is true, but it did SEEM as though the carpet looked cleaner, and the pet hair lifter reaches really far under furniture. This part definitely works, and is nice when you're reaching under the couch for a lost crayon and you don't have to dig through mounds of dog fur to find it.

He sounds like a keeper! We're in need of a new vacuum (in my opinion anyway) so I'll have take a look. Two large dogs lend themselves to tons of shedding.

Yaay for things that actually get rid of pet hair. I have an attachment for my Oreck canister that zips up the hair, but it's a pain to try and find it.

We have another version of the Bissel pet hair vac, probably the older version (gasp!) and I LOVE IT. Love love love love love it. The attachments don't seem to be very impressive, for getting hair off the couch, but the vacuum itself seems to suck up a disgustingly amazing amount of hair. I'm always horrified when I just vacuum our (tiny) living room, after just a week, and the canister is completely full of dog hair that I didn't even know existed.

Gross, but awesome.

I agree about the attachments. They don't work very well and tend to blow dust everywhere. But the vacuum itself is wonderful, and also disgusting. It is horrifying to vacuum just one room, after just one week, and see the canister FILL with fur.

So are you saying this is a special vaccuum just for pet hair? Or is the pet hair thing an attachment?

Oh my goodness, we TOTALLY have the same boyfriend! Or maybe they are just twins...but I guess I don't mind sharing.

But I agree, the things that he can pick up TOTALLY gross me out. But then again, that is why I love him so...
