Early Christmas

Saturday we were in Michigan with Jim's family for an early Christmas celebration. Highlights are as follows:

Addy with her new baby. It's pink! It's a doll! It's heaven!

Addy and her cousins, showing off their brand spankin' new snowman! (Snow courtesy of Michigan lake effect. Snowman was decapitated by the boys approximately five minutes after this photo.)

Okay, is this an acceptable Christmas card picture? Be honest.

Photo of Addie - ADORABLE!

Photo of all the kiddos - SO CUTE. And I can't BELIEVE that the boys would do such a thing to that nice snowman....ok, I can. Still funny.

Photo of the family - PERFECT! I think it's absolutely acceptable for Christmas cards.

Nice snowman! Too bad it got decapitated.

And beautiful family. I think that's a great photo for a Christmas card.

The family photo is lovely! What are you questioning? The fact that Eli isn't looking at the camera? Don't even think twice about it. The boy's got lots of time to work on mugging for the camera.

LOVE the pic!

Hey! We were in Three Rivers, MI on Sunday...! But no snow there....

Yes, that is what I was questioning- here is the newest addition to our family, but we're just going to tease you with his profile, not his actual face!
But I'm thinking this is about as good as it's going to get.

That photo is better than 90% of the photos I see in Christmas cards--and I am a Christmas card photo connoisseur. A connoisseur who needed four tries to spell "connoisseur."

You could include a second shot of Eli alone. That's what we're planning to do with Henry, since he's new since our last card. One shot of all the kids, and then one of just him.
