...Drinking wine at three in the afternoon while grimly ironing about two thousand yards of heavily wrinkled, one hundred percent cotton curtains, washed in a fit of smug housewifely virtue. Do not recommend. From now on, dusty curtains get shaken out. If that.
Man. I forgot how much I hate ironing.

I don't even know how to iron. I didn't even know that people ironed their curtains. I am going to be a crappy wife, apparently.
We don't even own curtains. I think I have an iron. Somewhere...
Dude, my iron is dusty.
Iron curtains? CLEAN curtains? It never occurred to me. You are way overacheiving here. Drink up, sister.
Ugh, I really hate ironing too. I'll only do it on request from Matt and usually for his dress clothes. Luckily he only requests once every few months. He knows I hate it.
Now this is a useful housekeeping tip!
I haven't ironed in years- get thee a steamer!
Funny...I was just thinking earlier this week I ought to wash our curtains.
And I agree with Slynnro -- a steamer is the way to go!!
I'm a freak - I actually kind of like ironing, once I get there. It's the getting everything out that does me in.
I don't know where my iron is . . . I'll have to ask my husband
The last time our curtains got noticably dirty/dusty I threw them out . . . how's that for lazy?
whew, I'm glad I'm not alone in my aversion to a former womanly duty!!
Your windows have CURTAINS?
