Although I do hate having to buy big ticket items quickly - it severly limits your options. I hope you find some good deals!LoriDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07646658618955664778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30354864.post-4278922707935459712009-12-15T06:18:43.988-08:002009-12-15T06:18:43.988-08:00Ugh on appliances dying and taking out the floor w...Ugh on appliances dying and taking out the floor with them! That is excessive! Our washer and dryer died this past autumn, within a week of each other. So we replaced the washer, thought we were done, then the dryer died. That was fun.Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10252114894311470243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30354864.post-14912725193680335752009-12-14T20:32:34.932-08:002009-12-14T20:32:34.932-08:00The drum in my washer went bad and I couldn't ...The drum in my washer went bad and I couldn't figure out what was happening and I had all these theories and kept filling the darn thing up and soaking my floor. Luckily I lived in base housing at the time so I had industrial laminate over concrete slab. Horror on my joints, but a blessing when your washer keeps flooding out your laundry room.Katyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02189007616883663434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30354864.post-42678485457392353292009-12-14T19:45:16.696-08:002009-12-14T19:45:16.696-08:00Broken laundry equipment stresses me right the hec...Broken laundry equipment stresses me right the heck out - add the flooring mess to that and I have to applaud you for not having a breakdown!!!

Um, does it help that you won my holiday music contest??? It's just the hassle that's annoying. Buying the washer and dryer we're kind of on our own for. Although, hopefully the insurance check will be a little more than we actually NEED and we can put some of it towards the appliances?Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07141742419364168878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30354864.post-65049764990853717912009-12-14T12:22:05.368-08:002009-12-14T12:22:05.368-08:00Oh yay! E-mail: hrcopsey at yahoo dot com.

As for your floors, yikes. I'm so very sorry. Though, aside from the whole spending-of-money issue, new appliances are kind of a bonus, right? My dryer is in similar condition, and my husband is very frugal (I'm being nice), so sometimes I fantasize about breaking it on purpose just to get him to breakdown and buy a new one.Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07383163628351295433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30354864.post-77401007013493296972009-12-14T12:21:48.785-08:002009-12-14T12:21:48.785-08:00Oh, that's AWFUL.
